When you work on a project on the seafront, the project itself asks you to enhance the views, the light, to capture the Mediterranean essence, to convey the stillness of the sea inside your home. And this is what we have done in this refurbishment of a house of the 1970s, where an old long and narrow corridor forms the backbone of the new distribution: we have opted for curves to give lightness and flexibility to the space. The day area has been resolved with open spaces with a visual connection to the outside, and the night area is at the back of the house.

We have chosen the SHANNON model by VESCOM to cover the curved wall that runs organically throughout the house, recalling the sinuosity and sensitivity of the waves of the sea.

For this project we designed the table and the bench with planks of natural chestnut wood, preserving the original bark to enhance its natural essence, a tribute to the material. To respect the prominence of the table, we have opted for kitchen furniture with straight lines and neutral tones: white furniture from SANTOS BLANES and NEOLITH countertop in a stone shade, combining with the sandy tone of the parquet used throughout the house.

The indirect lighting placed in the changes of plane of the ceiling or behind the mirrors creates a cozy atmosphere, projecting the tranquility that one breathes in this house. As for the rest of the materials, the doors and cabinets have been chosen in white as have the ceilings, to contrast with the walls painted in moka, and wood has been used in different rooms of the refurbishment, such as in the bathroom, where wood has been combined with the river stones that cover the wall.
