The kitchen and bathroom are very important in the state and overall image of a house. When we renovate these areas of the home, the whole house gains in value and is brought up to date. Here we have a renovation project carried out in an apartment in the Olympic village of Barcelona. The kitchen is open to the living room, whose main feature is the elegance of solid wood parquet, of minimal weight. The proportion of cabinets and drawers is completely horizontal, thus gaining in comfort and giving it a fresh look. The handles are made by GOLA, an integrated and discreet system that offers a clean and minimalist front surface.

The CORIAN (a continuous work surface), gives us beauty and a distinctive touch with its anthracite colour and its thickness, combining with the stone grey of the large tiles, an interplay of whites and various shades of grey.

A large mirror lends breadth and luminosity to the private space of the bathroom. We use tropical wenge wood, with a dark chocolate tone, to give a distinctive touch, contrasting with the contemporary white sink made by ROCA. The shower area is framed by completely transparent glass. The wall of the shower features large zzzzz tiling, also of a chocolate colour to gamma and provide the counterpoint of colour contrasting with the textured white tiling of the other walls. Aluminium enclosures with minimal intervention to achieve a minimalist Japanese image.

Renovating the kitchen is like moving into a new house, a real pleasure for those who love to spend hours cooking and sharing good flavours. Each detail counts.
