This multi-family building was commissioned by very clients with whom we have a very close relationship, and we felt as if were our own from the very first minute. The building is distributed into 3 commercial premises on the ground floor, 21 homes – 4 of them duplexes- and a car park floor. We chose the combination of white façade with the contrast of dark grey in the protruding elements, so that the eaves of the roof and the balcony slabs would set up a contrast to the light face of the rest of the façade. The finishing wood of the balconies railings and the delimitations between terraces on the ground floor help us to enhance the horizontality of the building.

In the street the green of the trees on the pavement, and on the south side the vegetation of the garden creates a contrast of colours that varies in each season of the year, creating a perfect harmony between nature and architecture.

The structure of the building is resolved with concrete pillars and reticular slabs, and is covered with a sloping roof creating a space undercover that allows space, on the top floor, for 4 duplexes with double height living rooms. This double height communicates the visual between the balcony facing the street and the solarium terrace that overlooks the south façade, turning these 120 m² homes into small houses that have the privacy of an attic floor with terraces of 30 m² orientated towards the views. The rest of the houses in the building, distributed with the main rooms along the façades, seek to achieve maximum clarity in each of the rooms.

The aluminium slats that separate the terraces of the first and second floors sift the entrance of sunlight without completely concealing the views, and allows us the “see without being seen” that suits us so well in the Mediterranean climate. This dark aluminium of the slats combines with the textured SABLE 100 ral of the openings and with the piece PROYECCIÓN by SALONI that we have placed on the window sills and on the pavements of the balconies. Inside the houses, the kitchens are by SANTOS and the bathroom tiles are by SALONI.
