To enter La Caseta is to enter the history of Sant Pol, with all the soul of the old houses of a fishing village. In an exclusive location, in the same square as the church (it was actually the house where the rector lived). We start with an original house with its local architecture. To renovate it, we focused on maintaining its own essence and refurbish it while preserving its charm and its personality; it is an icon. Inside, we recovered traditional materials such as adobe walls and the marble sink. The windows are made of chestnut and the front door has a sea-blue shade; the entrance has a unique character.

A renovation in Sant Pol of a project with pure Mediterranean essence, seafaring spirit and a slow pace of life. A tribute to popular architecture in this house in the old town, next to the church.

One way to pay homage to the house’s past is to incorporate porcelain into door handles and switches, combining it with wood. The design of the house also features exposed beams in the ceiling giving a natural, vivid and authentic look. All the light and intensity of the white of Sant Pol is perceived inside and outside the house, and the blinds chosen are the Alicante blinds so typical of traditional Mediterranean spaces.

In the renovation and redesign of the bathroom we have sought to create a pleasant warm atmosphere throughout the space, inspiring calm and serenity. In terms of materials, it is resolved with microcement, a continuous seamless material whose texture is pleasant and soft. In addition to the beauty it brings, it is a very clean construction system with very convenient hygiene maintenance, since it is all the same. The taps finished with matte bronze also give it a recovered and original old touch. In our architecture offices in Sant Pol we plan each room to enjoy relaxing and comfortable moments.
