The commission of this renovation consists of converting the interior of the house into new spaces full of light in this single-family building between party walls in Sant Pol de Mar, in the Maresme region.

We propose sober finishes that coexist well with the passage of time: white, ever-present in our architecture gives us clarity and spaciousness; wood gives naturalness and warmth, and the touch of black of the metallic items brings contrast, elegance and personality to the environment. We work to achieve comfort, style and a new air.

The first floor, intended for the day area with the kitchen, living room and dining room, is resolved in the most unobstructed way possible, allowing natural light to reach each space that defines it.

The staircase and the hall with the bathroom form a central core that allows the two main areas to be separated: on the one hand the kitchen and on the other the living-dining room. They are separated by two wide sliding doors that can be totally hidden, leaving the entire floor space connected and creating a great feeling of spaciousness. In addition, the living room, which has been enlarged, has big French windows that overlook the rear patio, illuminating the interior and creating an extension of these spaces on sunny days.

On the second floor, used as the night area, we refurbished the bathroom that serves the 4 rooms with a more functional layout and expanded the spaces for people to circulate, to have more comfort in their daily use.

The ground floor is completely redistributed, in a more efficient way that takes much better advantage of the space and the terrace with direct sea views. Where there was previously a study, bathroom and bedroom, we obtain a fourth dressing space, a fully renovated bathroom, a larger space with shower, bathtub and two sinks, and an exit to the terrace from the passageway, giving much more privacy to each room.
